Dollar - SwitzerlandREQUIRED RENTAL DOCUMENTSTHE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AREWhen collecting the vehicle, both the main driver and additional drivers must present a valid Driving Licence with a photocard and a valid Passport. A driving licence must be presented in legible Roman letters. All paper driving licences and a paper counter part licences which have been laminated, will not be accepted as valid, as security features on the licences can not be seen when placed under the violet lamps at the rental counter. An International Driving Permit (IDP) will be required if the driving licence is written in characters different to those of the renting country. A credit card in the name of the main driver is required, with sufficient funds for both the security deposit and for any service or extras requested locally. The card (either credit or debit depending on the destination/supplier) must display the 16 numbers and show the expiry date. The customer will be required to enter their pin code when leaving the deposit. The Flexible Autos voucher is required when picking up your rental car. There is no maximum age limit (Subject to the driving licence expiration and licence requirements) ADDITIONAL DRIVERSADDITIONAL DRIVER REQUIRMENTS AREAdditional drivers have a local charge of 15.03 CHF per day plus local taxes with a maximum charge of 150.26 CHF per rental plus local taxes. All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements, accompany the main driver when picking the rental car up and sign the rental agreement. When renting the following groups of vehicles, the first additional driver must present 1 valid credit where will be blocked a deposit of 4,000.00 CHF : LWAR, LXAR, UFBR, WDAR. DRIVING RESTRICTIONSGENERAL RESTRICTIONS AREDriving the vehicle without prior consent outside of the hire country will invalidate the agreed insurance coverage. CROSS BORDER/INTERNATIONAL ONE-WAYSInternational one-way travel is NOT available. The vehicle insurance will be deemed void if vehicles are not returned to the agreed pick-up location. Please confirm, either at the time of booking and/or at the pick-up location, any restrictions and additional costs: if you are intending to drive across the border of the rental country. The driver can take the vehicle cross border providing he has informed the rental desk prior to departure. There is an addtional fee payable for cross border travel of 32.43 CHF per rental, which must be paid locally, on collection of the vehicle. The following car groups cannot be driven in Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia: FWAR, LWAR, LXAR, PDAR, PFBR, PTAR, PWAR, RVAR, UFAH, UFBR, WDAR NATIONAL ONE-WAY TRAVELFor National one-way travel, we will confirm the availability and the price of this service once the reservation has been made and we have received a confirmation from the supplier. FERRY TRAVELTravelling via the ferry is NOT permitted. GRACE PERIODTHE GRACE PERIOD ISThe supplier establishes a grace period of 29 minutes from the indicated time in the reservation. If the rental vehicle is NOT returned after the expected time, inclusive of the suppliers grace period. A full days rental will be charged to the customer. IMPORTANT: EXTRASTHE AVAILABLE EXTRAS ARE
Optional Extras, are to be paid locally, they do not include local taxes and fee unless otherwise stated. Extras cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability. When returning an extra outside of Switzerland, an additional charge of CHF 150.00 will apply. DELIVERY AND COLLECTIONDELIVERY AND COLLECTION AVAILABILITYProviding the Delivery and Collection service is available, confirmation will be given at the time of booking. OUT OF HOURS SERVICETHE OUT OF HOURS SERVICE AVAILABILITY ISThe Out of Hour service is by request basis only. This service may not be available at all locations. There will be an extra charge of 81.08 CHF,plus Vat for picking up and dropping off the vehicle. In some cases airport/location fees may also be applied. All Out of Hours fees are to be pay locally. SUPPLIER/ROADSIDE ASSISTANCEROADSIDE ASSISTANCE INFORMATIONIn case of a breakdown customers must stay with the car and contact the rental office for assistance. Telephone numbers are on the rental paperwork, please confirm at the time of pick-up of the rental vehicle. In case of an accident, the customer must remain with the vehicle, inform the Lessor of the event and complete a police report at the time of the incident. In case of theft of the vehicle or vehicle equipment customers must contact the rental office and make a report to the police. EXTRA INFORMATION AND COSTSWINTER COVERWinter cover is for rentals between 1st November to 28th February. The cover includes, amongst other items, winter tyres and an ice scrapper. DELAYED OR DIVERTED FLIGHTSReservations will be held for 2 hour(s) from the specified reservation, during the business open hours time, after which they will be classed as a no-show. If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured. We will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different to the original booking. Flight numbers provided are for informational purposes only. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the location of any delays EARLY RETURNThere is no refund for unused days.
